The Hollywood sign from behind, taken by photographer Austin Hargrave. From this unconventional angle, the image showcases the expanse of Los Angeles, from the Pacific Ocean and LAX to downtown beyond the Griffith Observatory.
The photo was taken on a day of record-breaking heat, with a storm moving in after a heat wave. Taken on the most powerful medium format digital camera (Phase 65+ back), the final photograph is 30 individual pictures stitched together and can be enlarged to over 10ft. With a file size of over 6GB, it's roughly 250 times bigger than your average digital camera photograph.
DOOWYLLOH is available in two limited edition series of 100, all signed and numbered.
The sizes are 72x48 and 40x27, available framed or unframed.
